The actress passed away after a battle with cancer Wednesday (Oct. 27) at the Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey, according to CNN. A funeral Mass was held Saturday.

Regis and Kelly’s costumes for Halloween 2010 had a fun mix of reality show stars and popular TV shows. Watch Regis and Kelly’s 30+ costumes in these Halloween video clips.
Regis and Kelly opened the show as Jersey Shore’s Snooki and The Situation, with Gelman playing Pauly D. A Jersey Shore clip included Regis and Kelly, with the addition of Art Moore as JWoww.
The Steven Slater JetBlue flight attendant incident was played out, with Regis as a rude passenger and Kelly as Steven Slater. The real Slater was even there to hand off beers, saying, “Don’t let the emergency door hit you on the way out”
Next up: Regis as Elmo and Kelly as Katy Perry from that much talked about Sesame Street controversy.
Will Ferrell appeared as Live with Regis and Kelly’s guest – he was dressed as a bed bug!
Glee’s Cory Monteith made a small appearance…
Regis and Kelly did a Modern Family sketch, which didn’t impress much (they played Jay and Gloria, with Art Moore as Manny).
The Live with Regis and Kelly gang tackled the Kardashians – Kelly as Kris Jenner, who introduces the family to a new Kardashian… Kandy (Art Moore)! Regis is on board as Bruce Jenner, and Kelly plays the roles of Kourtney, Khloe and Kim, with Gelman as Scott Disick.
Kelly appears as Rachel in The Rachel Zoe Project, with Regis as Brad and Gelman as husband Rodger. This leads to Kelly as Lady Gaga trying on a veggie dress and fish dress… and a meat dress, of course!
Kelly appears as Cher at the MTV VMA awards. Regis is Justin Bieber and Kelly appears in the Lady Gaga meat dress – in this case, it’s imagined with hot dogs, bologna and cheese!
Then the Glee sketch – Kelly as Rachel and Regis as Sue Sylvester, with a Glee Lady Gaga episode of Regis, Art, Kelly and Gelman as various Gagas.
Finally, American Idol judges Jennifer Lopez (Kelly) and Steven Tyler (Regis) judge the Halloween costume contest.
Here are some of the highlights from Regis and Kelly’s costumes on their Halloween show.

Celebrity Inspired Halloween Costumes

 Celebrity Inspired Halloween Costumes

You have a little over a week until Halloween, and if you're still scrounging to come up with a Halloween costume, turn to your favorite outrageous celebrities' fashion choices for inspiration.

Over the last year, the red carpet, music videos, and magazine spreads have been filled with outfits that would only be worn by us regular folks on October 31. Check out 8 of our favorite celebrity outfits-turned-costumes:

Ke$ha: Okay, so I'm totally giving away my costume idea (CafeMom co-workers, you've been warned for the costume contest). This year, I'm channeling my inner Ke$ha and donning her handmade trashbag dress that she wore to this year's VMAs. The best thing about this outfit is that it's perhaps the cheapest costume I've ever worn. Simply cut a trashbag to fit (though it took me five attempts to get it right) and add a black faux fur boa to wear around your neck. If you're really a perfectionist, cut the boa and superglue to the top of the dress to match hers. You can't really tell from the photo, but she gathered the excess bag and bunched it up in the back, but you could always just simply cinch it with a belt. Oh, and don't forget the styled blonde wig if you're not a natural.

Rihanna: Another easy one -- Rihanna's Bozo the Clown-inspired outfit. Honestly, I'd go the funny route with this one and get a regular clown costume, slap a name tag that says "Rihanna" on yourself, and carry a microphone around with you while sporadically busting out with "Rude Boy."

Miley CyrusMiley Cyrus: Her winged creature character in her "Can't Be Tamed Video" was pretty hot and can be easily replicated. Just get a black leotard, knee-high boots, and ginormous black wings.

Lady Gaga: Let's be honest here, all of her outfits make headlines, but take a wild guess at which one made the most ... the meat dress. Duh. Sure you could go the real meat route (which, according to a NYC meat carver, it would take you 15 to 20 pounds of flank steak, 10 hours to create, and cost you about $1,000). Best bet is to cut up a red dress and run bleach over it to look marbleized or use iron-on transfers. Add your dog's plastic steak chew toy to your head (might want to wash it first), and voila! You're a walking gay rights ad.

Kate Gosselin: Hopefully by now, you've got that horrible image of Kate Gosselin angrily stomping about to "Paparazzi" on last spring season of Dancing With the Stars. Damn, now it's in your head again, sorry about that. But it does make for another easy costume. Due to high demand, costume shops have been stocked with Kate Gosselin wigs (blech) and red tango dresses. Yes, I know she had long hair in the dance, but no one remembers that.

Katy Perry
Katy Perry: All summer we danced to Katy Perry's "California Gurls" and I am willing to bet we're going to see lots of ice cream sundae bikini tops running around this Halloween. To create this look, try to find some sweet fake treats at your local toy store, attach them to a bikini, don a blue wig, and wear some bedazzled shorts.

Kim Kardashian: She lit gossip fires when she posed for GQ magazine last week wearing nothing but silver paint (but it's art!). Take her nudity as inspiration, but wear a full-body silver suit instead (unless you have the guts to go nakey, but don't blame me when your silver butt's in jail). Make sure you wear a booty pop in your pants for that extra junk in the trunk.

Lindsay Lohan: They say it's a fashion faux pas to wear the same outfit twice in the celebrity world, well, LiLo's been having all sorts of orange no-no's due to her frequent trips to the slammer. Don't forget the classy "F*** You" manicure.

Oooor you can always go to the costume store and pick what's left of sexy kitten, sexy Chucky (eek!), or sexy Chewbacca (totally serious).

Can you think of any celebrities' outfits from the past year that would make for a good Halloween costume?

The Real Reason Rihanna Missed Katy Perry's Wedding

   The Real Reason Rihanna
 Missed Katy Perry's Wedding

Well, at least she made it to the bachelorette party.
When Katy Perry exchanged vows with Russell Brand over the weekend, the "Teenage Dream" singer's close pal Rihanna was surprisingly nowhere to be found.
That's surprising, considering the Grammy winner and boyfriend Matt Kemp were on the guest list for the big shindig in India.
So why the no-show?
Turns out it simply came down to a conflict with Rihanna's work schedule, a source close to Kemp tells E! News, and that the decision not to attend was "a last-minute change of plans."
"He was telling me [last] Saturday that he was leaving the country for a week with Rihanna," the source explains. "But then on Tuesday, he told me they weren't going."
Rihanna later explained that she was in New York putting the finishing touches on her upcoming album.
"The album is coming out in two weeks," she told Extra, "and I had to be available for a lot of approvals. We couldn't get any phone service or Internet service over there. I was crushed, was really looking forward to it, but she understood. I was glad I could throw her a bachelorette party."

David Arquette and Courtney Cox Split!

David Arquette Jasmine Waltz Courteney Cox

David Arquette went on Howard Stern's Sirius Satellite Radio show the day after he and Courtney Cox announced their separation to tell all about their five-month dry spell and his rebound sex with waitress Jasmine Waltz. He quickly apologized over Twitter for sharing too much.
On Wednesday he returned to Stern's show to share more. He revealed (via ET Online) that he and Courteney do not have a prenup and since they split, he has had sex with at least one more woman other than Jasmine--an Australian blonde.
"I'm pretty sure I'm up sh**'s creek right now," he said.
David also admitted he cried when having sex with someone other than his wife (presumably Jasmine) for the first time.
"After the first girl I slept with ... a few days later ... I was, like, crying," he said. "It was the end of all the intimacy I shared with my wife. It was like a new thing. It was like ... putting that away."
He answered indirectly when asked about rumors that Courteney is dating her 'Cougar Town' costar Brian Van Holt.
"Any guy would be blessed to be with her," he said. "I don't have any hard feelings for anyone. This is life and we are just going through it publicly."

Hangover Director: Mel Gibson Wasn't Fired!

 Hangover Director:
Mel Gibson Wasn't Fired!

Like a bumbling bachelor-partygoer who's wondering how he lost his front tooth, Todd Phillips is trying to piece together what really happened.
The director assured reporters Wednesday that Mel Gibson was not hired and then fired from making a cameo in The Hangover 2.
Rather, Phillips said at a press event for Due Date, the reputation-impaired star "was just doing a favor from the beginning."

"No one was ever fired," Phillips insisted. "It's a term that is so obscene to me."
Surely Gibson can teach Phillips some far more obscene terms, but the filmmaker wouldn't give an inch when asked who (i.e., Was it Zach Galifianakis?) on the Hangover team objected to Gibson scoring a snippet of screen time as a Bangkok tattoo artist.
"Someone was doing me a favor to come in for a two-minute cameo, and we changed it," Phillips said simply. "It wasn't like we fired somebody. [Gibson] was just doing a favor from the beginning."
Liam Neeson has since been tapped to do the honors.
E! Online's Marc Malkin was first to confirm that the main castmembers from the first film, minus Heather Graham, will be back for the sequel, which will be shooting in L.A. and Thailand.

Obama Swings at Hardballs on The Daily Show

Obama Swings at Hardballs on The Daily Show

  Why so serious, Mr. President?
Despite Jon Stewart's best efforts, Barack Obama played it pretty close to the vest during his appearance tonight on The Daily Show, knowing that nobody's laughing when it comes to the economy, Afghanistan and next week's midterm elections.
When Obama said the administration had accomplished things that "some folks don't even know about," Stewart asked, "What have you done that we don't know about?
"Are you planning a surprise party for us, filled with jobs and health care?"

But Obama wasn't in the mood to play.
"Over and over again, we have moved forward an agenda that is making a difference in people's lives each and every day," insisted the commander in chief. "Is it enough? No. And so I expect, and I think most Democrats out there expect, that people want to see more progress."
He promised "change you can believe in, not change you can believe in in 18 months," the president said.
"Over the last two years in the emergency situation, our attitude was that we've got to get some things done. In order to do that, [we] basically worked with the process as opposed to transforming the process, and that frustrated folks. It frustrates me."
And it obviously frustrates Stewart, who despite being an avowed Obama fan did not let up when it came to topics like the foundering economy and "timid" health care legislation.
"This is what most people would say is as significant a piece of legislation as we have seen in this country's history," Obama told Stewart. "What happens is, it gets discounted because the assumption is we didn't get 100 percent of what we wanted, we only get 90 percent of what we wanted—so let's focus on the 10 percent we didn't get."
The Daily Show is shooting in Washington, D.C., this week leading up to Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity taking place Saturday on the National Mall, where Stephen Colbert will also be leading his troops on the complementary March to Keep Fear Alive.

Miley Cyrus' Parents Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus Divorcing

       Miley Cyrus' Parents Billy
     Ray and Tish Cyrus Divorcing

This is really achy-breaky heart time for Miley Cyrus and her family.
Her parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus, have announced they are divorcing after 17 years of marriage.
"As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family," the couple said in a statement. "We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."

The Cyruses filed
divorce papers Wednesday in Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences.
"It was a long time coming. It is the best thing for both of them," a source close to the couple tells E! News, adding that contrary to some tabloid speculation there was  no third party responsible.

The country crooner-turned-actor swapped vows with Leticia "Tish"  Finley in December 1992. They have three children together, Miley, 17, Braison, 16 and Noah, 10. Billy Ray also has two stepkids he adopted when they were infants and a son from a previous relationship.
